Atty. Marie Hazel E. Lavitoria
Hazel, a lawyer by profession, has been with SALIGAN for over a decade. She started out as a legal staff under the Urban Poor and Women Programs of SALIGAN in 2006 and went on to become the Bicol Branch Coordinator in 2008. She served under the Bicol branch for six years until she was made Executive Director in 2014.
Hazel was admitted to the Philippine Bar in May 2006. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences (University of the Philippines, Manila, Philippines), Bachelor of Laws (University of Nueva Caceres, Naga City, Philippines), and a Master of Arts in Development Studies: Social Justice Perspectives Major in Human Rights (International Institute of Social Studies of the Erasmus University of Rotterdam, The Hague, The Netherlands).
Jocelyn V. Ramos
Administrative and Finance Coordinator
Olyn has been at the helm of SALIGAN’s financial and administrative affairs since 1988.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Psychology from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines.
Marisol P. Victorioso
Sol has been a legal staff of SALIGAN since 2018. Prior to her stint with SALIGAN, she has been with the Department of Internal and Local Governance and Children’s Legal Bureau as an Executive Assistant and Project Officer.
She holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of San Carlos in Cebu City, Philippines and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from the University of the Philippines Diliman.
Atty. Juan Carlo P. Tejano
JC has served SALIGAN as a lawyer since 2019. Before SALIGAN, he has spent time with the Akbayan Party, Senate of the Philippines, Office of the Government Corporate Counsel, Presidential Management Staff and People’s Television Network.
He earned his J.D. from the University of the Philippines College of Law and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (magna cum laude).
Jay Pee B. Bombales
JP handles SALIGAN’s administrative and financial concerns. He has been with the staff since 2017. He has worked with Partnership of Philippine Support Service Agencies (PHILSSA) in the past.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Financial Management from the Rizal Technological University.
David A. Abogado, Jr.
Dave first served SALIGAN as a legal staff in 2007 and went on to become the Bicol Branch Coordinator in 2014.
He earned his J.D. from the University of Nueva Caceres and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the Ateneo de Naga University.
Shyla Joy B. Dumalasa
Shy has been part of SALIGAN’s legal staff since 2011. Previously she has worked for the Naga City Council for Women.
She holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Nueva Caceres, Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the Ateneo de Naga University, and a Diploma on Local Government Management from Bicol University.
Maricel R. Erlano
Cel has been in charge of SALIGAN Bikol’s administrative and financial matters for two decades now.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of Nueva Caceres.
Atty. Francesca Lois V. Sarenas
Kix served SALIGAN as a legal staff in 2011 and became its branch coordinator in 2013. She has worked with the University of the Philippines College of Law Office of Legal Aid and Institute of Human Rights in the past.
She earned her J.D. and Bachelor of Science in Community Development from the University of the Philippines.
Marc A. Majadas
Marc has been with SALIGAN as a legal staff since 2014.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Science in Criminology from the University of Mindanao.
Atty. Ian DJ D. Gencianeo
Ian has been a lawyer for SALIGAN since 2017 and serves as fellow of the Environmental Defense Program.
He earned his J.D. from the Cor Jesu College and Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from the Ateneo de Davao University.
Melanie G. Cabanig
Lani has been an Admin/Finance staff of SALIGAN since 2019. She has worked as an accounting staff for several companies in the past.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the Holy Cross of Davao College.
