SALIGAN: Redefining Lawyering

SALIGAN stands for SENTRO NG ALTERNATIBONG LINGAP PANLIGAL. We are a legal resource non-governmental organization doing developmental legal work with women, workers, farmers and fishers, the urban poor, and local communities.

Founded in 1987, SALIGAN is among the oldest and biggest members of the Alternative Law Groups, Inc. (ALG), a coalition of 20 law groups in the Philippines engaged in the practice of alternative or developmental law. We have more than 100 partner-organizations all over the country, from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
